Welcome to the Washington Math Coaches Wiki

Newest postings are from the NW Math Conference - at this point only materials from Ann and Millie's presentation "55 Ways to Leave a Lesson".  Note:  It has grown and changed - so you might want to take a look.  Additional content to the presentation was provided by Scott.

If you have "stuff" to add please do Webmail.

Welcome to all the new and returning "mathies" checking out the site.  If you are having trouble navigating the site or uploading materials please contact Ann Sipe (annsipe@bigfoot.com) or leave a comment in the comment box below.

The March 2010 Materials have been uploaded and are in the folder "March 2010 Training- Yakima".  The files are alphabetical, because this sort of grew organically rather than with forethought and deliberation. At some point I will have the time and focus to do something about this.  In the meantime, the name of folders will continue in the same pattern.....So just keep scrolling in the Navigator window to the right until you find what you want.

The video files may not play if you do not have the correct video player - this is not an issue I can help with.

I encourage you to scroll to the bottom of this page and click on the RSS feed.  This will lead you through subscribing to an email notification of changes, uploads, comments......

Archived Information

The November 2009 Math_Science Coach Training materials have been uploaded and placed in a file named "Nov 2009 Math_Science Coach Training".  It does not include materials from the 11/16 presentation on PLCs and Data Digging, yet.

This wiki contains resources for Washington state math coaches. All information here can be edited by participants. Please feel free to upload resources and join in the discussions.

From Kristine:  Thanks to Greta for setting this up and teaching us how to use it  ---  What a great resource!  Let's all contribute to maintaining this site and keeping it useful.

From Cathy Carroll: I'd like to add thanks to Greta also.  This will be a great resource for all of you to stay connected, and I look forward to "lurking" to hear about your ongoing work--successes and challenges.  You have a great opportunity to continue to learn together virtually here...don't hesitate to take advantage of it.
